American Flag Half Staff

As I drove into work Friday, September 11th at 7am, I counted that 30 out of 31 of the car dealerships on “Car Alley” still had their American Flags full staff. By noon, when I drove to Rotary, I counted again and 26 out of 31 had the American Flag at half staff, 84%, not bad. However, I think the local and national media need to do a better job announcing the half staff requirement. I’d like to think the reason the six car dealerships didn’t lower their flag was because of ignorance and not because they are being obstinate  and disrespectful.
